IDEO Wins 4 Honors in Fast Company’s Annual Innovation By Design Awards

Fast Company’s annual Innovation By Design Awards celebrate outstanding design in business. This year, 397 notable designs were selected from more than 2,800 submissions across 16 categories. IDEO received 4 honors in categories including product, workplace, and timeless design:

• SOG Multi-Tools, a family of four new sleek cutting tools that fit into people’s everyday lives, received an honorable mention in the product category.
• Heartstream Forerunner Defibrillator, an affordable and life-saving defibrillator that is highly mobile and easy to operate, earned an honorable mention in the timeless design category.
• Wirelane, a sophisticated ecosystem of charging stations for electric cars built in collaboration with Wirelane, was awarded an honorable mention in the product category.
• IDEO Creative Difference, a tool that assesses your company’s qualities and provides a clear breakdown of areas of improvement, was selected as a finalist in the workplace category.
